A. Weather in the mountains is notoriously difficult to predict. At night it is generally cooler the days are generally warm. Winter (January and February) will be bit colder but the days can be quite beautiful and warm if the sun is out. There will be bit of snow during the month of January, February and December. It is also important to make sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any conditions. Expect the unexpected! The temperature could be as high as 20 deg C to -15 deg C low.
We use standard rooms from three/four star hotels in Kathmandu with breakfast included. We can also offer you Actual Adventuresleeping bags if needed (which need to return after the trip) but it is a good idea to always have your own sleeping equipment. We usually provide single and double rooms as well as the occasional dormitory. The dining room is downstairs around a fire. All food will be cooked to order in the little kitchen. You should not enter the kitchen unless asked to do so.
A. In Everest base camp trek most teahouses (lodges) cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian fare. Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season) and even some desserts like apple pies, pancakes, and some interesting attempts at custard. You will find a lot of garlic on the menu because it assists with acclimatization – eat some every day. In many larger villages you may find some meat on the menu. You can always get hot chocolate, tea, and hot lemon drinks, as well as soft drinks, and treats like chocolate and crisps.
Each day dinner and breakfast are used to take in the same lodge you spend the night. Lunch will be taken on the way to destination.

For the internal flights from Kathmandu - Lukla - Kathmandu, the airlines we use are Yeti, Sita, and Tara

I am writing this Review on behalf of our Trip to Poon Hill. I was with Gelu Sherpa and the porter Dawa the little Annapurna round 2017 in October / November. It was my first visit to the wonderful country of Nepal and I was excited if I could make it to the stages and with the condition of all the circumstances. But the worries were unfounded because I had Gelu at my side. During the stay in Kathmandu and Pokhara as well as on the whole tour he took care of everything. In the accommodations, we had good rooms and even such small problems as the handling of the foreign ATMs.The road took us from Kathmandu, where it is essential to take some time for the metropolis via Pokhara at the beginning of the tour, the highlight of which was the view of Poon Hill. There you have at sunrise a wonderful view of e.g. the Machhapuchhre and other peaks in the sunrise. Poon Hill trek is also a popular trekking destination for the Annapurna region trek. Poon hill at 3,210 meters is also a famous viewpoint of a trekker’s paradise. Anyone with a moderate level of physical fitness can join this trek. Gelu was always there, explained, pointed out special features, motivated and helped. Especially for beginners who want to get to know the country I can recommend this trip and especially under the guidance of Gelu. I myself hope that I can do another tour soon. This is only short review about my trip to Poon Hill.

Unforgettable and Unregrettable Trip to Poonhill
I was going to Poonhill looking for unforegettable snow-trekking experience in Poonhill. Thank god this Tour Company and the tour guide, Sujan, helped me get this with service quality and planning that was high and good enough to keep me from regretting choosing it!
For 7 days in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and the Poonhill, my tour was planned with very high-value food and hotels. Frankly I had expected the food and accommodation on the hill would be very bad at the beginning. However, it turned out they were chosen carefully to suit my expectations (even if they might be more expensive than others). They did succeed in suprising me again and again every meal time and night time.
Secondly, my friends and I were closely accompanied along the mountain trek so they could always stepped up to help, explain, or joke with us anytime, which made the trip especially warm and memorable. I am a demanding person. Yet they know how to support me, respect me, and do not bullshxt me, which is something I rarely find in other tour guides.
And lastly they were young and knew how to introduce places or experiences in a funny and inspiring ways. When I was touring the historical spots, they were not citing boring history about the old buildings, they only chose the ones with interesting facts or stories to tell, which kept me amused.
