Overview and Highlights

Starting from the capital city of Kathmandu, your first day is dedicated to getting settled into your hotel and exploring the city's famous Swayambhunath Stupa, which offers stunning panoramic views of the city. On the second day, you'll delve deeper into the city's rich cultural heritage, visiting the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Durbar Square and the revered Pashupatinath Temple. The day concludes with a stroll through the bustling streets of Thamel, a popular tourist district with a plethora of shops, restaurants, and bars.

On the third day, you'll take a scenic flight or drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city nestled in the Himalayas. Here, you'll explore the city's famous World Peace Pagoda and take in stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range. Day 4 is dedicated to visiting Pokhara's famous Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Bindhyabasini Temple, and the vibrant Lakeside neighborhood.

The next day, you'll drive to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its diverse wildlife, including tigers, rhinos, and elephants. Here, you'll enjoy a jungle walk, a Tharu cultural dance and music performance, and a canoe ride down the Rapti River to spot wildlife. On day 6, you'll explore more of the park on a jeep safari and visit the Elephant Breeding Center to learn about conservation efforts to protect these majestic animals.

Day 7 sees you traveling to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you'll visit the Maya Devi Temple and Ashoka Pillar before resting up in your hotel. The following day, you'll explore the Lumbini Museum and nearby monasteries and temples, attend a meditation session, and learn about the teachings of Buddha.

On day 9, you'll take a flight back to Kathmandu and explore the city's famous Boudhanath Stupa, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Day 10 offers a chance to take a cooking class and learn how to make traditional Nepali dishes, visit the Patan Durbar Square, and explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. Finally, day 11 is reserved for a leisurely breakfast and some last-minute sightseeing or shopping before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.

  • Nepal's entry visa fee. Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, visitors can easily obtain a Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 15 days at a fee of US$ 25 (or equivalent foreign currency), or for 30 days at a fee of US$ 40 (or equivalent foreign currency), or for 100 days at a fee of US$ 100 (or equivalent foreign currency). Two passport-size photos will be required for the visa application.
