The Dolakha Bhimsen Tour is especially designed for people of Hindu followers. The holy Bhimsen temple is located in Dolakha Bazaar of Dolakha District. The temple is dedicated to the legendary deity Bhim where a statue of him lies. This roofless temple of Dolakha comprises of a triangular shaped stone statue of Lord Bhim. The statue represents three incarnations. One is of the Lord Bhimsen himself. Second one is of Goddess Bhagawati, who asks for scarifies of animals in the form of devils and demons. And, the third and the last one is God Shiva who discourages sacrifice of animals and does not support bleeding.
Mythology explains that 12 porters were travelling through this route where they stopped at the spot and constructed an oven with three stones in order to cook food of their overnight. Also, there are several other mythological stories related to the temple of Dolakha. People also believe that people who lived in Bhima’s kingdom had to suffer a lot of pain. In order to get released from the pain they prayed to god Shiva and asked for freedom. Lord Shiva appeared in the kingdom and killed Bhim. Then after his death, statue of him was name as Bhimeswor.

Day 04: Drive from Dolakha Bhimsen via Bhaktapur [1,348m/4,423ft] to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at hotel
