Pahari and Tamang village tour

This Pahari and Tamang village home-stay trekking takes you to the heart of Tamang and Pahari village in Sindhupalchok district. The typical marginal Pahari people with their unique culture is the main attraction of this trip. You will enjoy with the tamang culture and other village lifestyle with in short time. You will pass through the Saal tree forest upto pine trees forest.

This trip will be best for those visitors who want to explore the nature, culture and lifestyle of village people. You will enjoy the thrilling mountain views in the north and beautiful terraces in the south.

During this trip you will stay and lunch with families at home-stay. Interact with home-stay families and watch cultural shows.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 01	:	Arrival to Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02	:	Full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu valley that includes visit to the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath, Monkey Temple, the Swyambhunath (2000 years old Stupa) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03	:	Drive from Kathmandu to Chehere, 63Kms to the east about 2hours. Trek from Chehere to Ukhubari village about 2 hours or drive 1 hour upto Thokarpa village. This day you walk through the deep river gorge, subtropical forest and small hamlets. Overnight home-stay with village people.
Day 04	:	Explore the culture of marginal Pahari people in Jamune village, a tipical Pahari settlement. Trek through the farms and enjoy with farmers in the mid hill regions and Overnight at Tamang or Brahman village in Thokarpa VDC.
Day 05	:	Explore the tamang culture in Bhanjyang and Wafal village. Explore monuments, gomba and enjoy with typical tamang food and culture.
Day 06	:	Drive back from Wafal to Kathmandu or you can hike 5 hours to Sikre, passing through a tamang and Newar villages and drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 07	:	Free day in Kathmandu
Day 08	:	Final departure to your destination
