This village is situated in the eastern part of Nepal 700 km. from Kathmandu. The domination of typical Rai Culture and glorious view is an unspoiled place. The unique culture and the exceptional natural beauty. One can see Mt. Makalu, Peak 4, Kanchenjungha, and other small peaks. This area is known as a model village of Dhankuta district. You can drive by bus or private vehicle it takes 17 hours to get Dhankuta by bus or you can fly from Kathmandu to Biratnagar and drive up to Dhankuta. The village is on a north-facing slope at 1,500m. above sea level. The climate is ideal at all times of the year with no snow ever falling in the village itself. However, the ideal time to visit is between September, October and March, May. The houses are mostly built from local materials and are well constructed.

Siva Mandhir:
It is situated at Ankhisalla VDC. It is one of the oldest temples of Nepal.
Siddhathan:
It is situated at ward no-7 of Ankhisalla VDC.
Pitripuja:
This Pitripuja is performed wishing safe and heavenly reside of the forefathers. It is worshipped twice a year.
Dhukursingh:
This is the main worshiping god of Rai community.Rai people worship this god with great zeal and happiness.
Devithan:
When one enters the villages, too manyl devithans can be seen along the way.
Jalpa Devi Bhagawati Mandir:
Jalpa Devi Mandir is a famous temple of Chhintang VDC. The temple is situated at Chhintang VDC. The worshiping of the goddess starts from 2.00pm. Other gods and goddess are generally worshiped in the morning but this goddess is worshiped in the afternoon. This is the unique specialty of this goddess.
