Ama Dablam Expedition in Nepal

Ama Dablam(6812m), one of the most beautiful mountain and small snowcapped peak of 6812m lying in the Everest region. Considered to be the most technical & difficult climbing. The mountaineers usually have to pitch 3 high camps to summit on it.

Mt Amadablam is one of most beautiful mountain in the Everest region of Nepal with a height of 6,823m/22,385ft standing high over the famous Sherpa villages of Pangboche and Tyangboche. Trekking as well as mountaineering here has been one of the favourite activities for explorers. Amadablam contains a variety of altitudes that makes this peak an adventurous one. Besides, for nature lovers, this place has got large frozen glaciers, hot springs and snow-capped peaks. Mountains of this kind are among the most valuable assets of the country.
With no easy route to its summit, explorers try their best to find one. Among them the most active route to the access of Mount Amadablam is through the South-west ridge of the mountain. Most trekkers and mountaineers prefer to climb this peak from here. This mountain is listed among the top sites for trekking and mountaineering by the Nepal Tourism Board of Nepal. The rough rugged rocks and steep altitudes make this trip a challenging one which providers mountaineers an inspiration to complete their expedition.
Mountaineers usually need to build 3 camps altogether during the expedition to climb the peak. The route from the base camp to the first camp is the most difficult and strenuous one. And the route above camp 1 is always technical and exposed.

Itinerary for Ama Dablam Expedition

Day 01: Upon Arrival in Kathmandu Airport [1,338m/4,389ft] you will be warmly welcomed by our crews and you will be transferred to your hotel. Stay overnight in hotel

Day 02: You will be provided an opportunity of sight-seeing in the Kathmandu Valley this particular day. Back to hotel in the evening and stay overnight

Day 03: Today we will conduct official formalities and paperwork. Overnight at hotel

Day 04: We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla [2,848 m/9,344 ft] and then further trek to Phakding. Camp at the site and stay overnight

Day 05: Today we trek from Phakding [2,631 m/8,632 ft] to Namche Bazaar [3420m/11,286ft]. Camp at site and stay overnight

Day 06: We consider this day as a rest day at Namche Bazaar. Camp overnight

Day 07: We trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche [3,870m/12,700ft]. Camp at site and stay overnight

Day 08: Trek to Base Camp [4,600m/15,091ft]

Day 09: Base Camp Preparation

Day 10-24: From Day 10 to 24 we divide the phase as climbing period of Amadablam. During this period we need to climb the peak

Day 25: Back to Tyangboche. Camp at site and stay overnight

Day 26: Trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar. Camp at site and stay overnight

Day 27: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. Teahouse overnight

Day 28: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and stay overnight

Day 29: Free day in Kathmandu for sightseeing. Stay overnight at hotel
